The following descriptions provide a general introduction and overview to competition categories. Click the icon below to see the full and official Zone 8 Concours d'Elegance rules.

The Concours is open to all Porsches — you do not need to be a PCA member to complete

Registration closes Sunday, Sept 8th at midnight PDT!

This event follows PCA Zone 8 Concours rules.

The most stringent class. Cars will be judged on exterior, interior, storage compartment, engine compartment and chassis.

FULL CONCOURS (C)

Similar to Full Concourse, but for the newer models which have an engine compartment that is not as accessible as it has traditionally been in older models. Cars will be judged on exterior, interior, storage compartment and chassis

GANZ UBERGANG (GU)

A moderately stringent category, this category is ideal for cars that are extraordinarily well maintained but also driven regularly. Cars will be judged on exterior, interior, storage compartment and engine compartment.

STREET (S)

Unrestored entries are a minimum 20 model years old, with a minimum of 75% Porsche Factory applied paint and 75% Porsche Factory installed interior.

UNRESTORED (UR)

A transitional class for models which have an engine compartment that is not as accessible as it has traditionally been in older models. Cars will be judged on exterior, interior, and storage compartment.

UBERGANG (UG)

As the name alludes, Wash & Shine provides an easier entry into Concours competition. It is the least stringent competitive category. Cars will be judged on interior and exterior only.

WASH & SHINE (W&S)

This division is accommodates special interest (extensively modified), current competition or limited production cars. Cars will be judged on exterior, interior, storage compartment and engine compartment.

SPECIAL CATEGORIES (SC)

This is a non-competitive category for cars of general interest to spectators. Cars registered for display ony are not judged nor are they competing for prizes
